Conclusion of NASA’s Astronomy Camp (Part One): International University Soars with LYBOTICS

LIMU, recently hosted a groundbreaking event: the first-ever NASA Astronomy Camp in the country. Organized by LYBOTICS in partnership with the NASA Astronomy Camp, this 10-day program offered a unique opportunity for Libyan youth to explore the wonders of the universe.

The camp was led by Ms. Najla Al-Madani, a U.S. resident and head of LYBOTICS ING. During the closing ceremony, Ms. Al-Madani expressed her gratitude to LIMU for hosting the event and congratulated the families for supporting their children’s participation.

LIMU University President Prof. Dr. Mohammed Saad was in attendance at the closing ceremony, along with camp coordinator Ms. Nagiba Astita and Deputy University Director Mr. Abdelkader Al-Tayeb. In his speech, Dr. Saad praised the attendees and emphasized the importance of such events in fostering creativity, innovation, and a more dynamic educational approach. He also noted Libya’s status as the fourth Arab country to host a NASA Astronomy Camp, expressing hope for future collaborations.
