In a special statement to the Media Center, Dr. Salma Bokhuta, a member of the Scholarship Committee, disclosed that the University Council, in its recent meeting, approved twelve (12) scholarships in the Nursing program within the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. Bokhuta explained that the scholarship recipients will begin their studies in the upcoming academic year 2024/2025, and the university will cover all their expenses until graduation.
The member of the Scholarship Committee confirmed that within ten days, the names of those who applied for the scholarship and met the requirements will be announced and accepted.
The university’s aim in offering these scholarships in their third iteration, and dedicating them to Nursing, is to make an effective contribution to the development of this essential sector in medical services and one of its pillars. This is driven by the university’s sense of responsibility towards its community and to train personnel at the highest level according to the latest educational and training programs. The university will, in turn, assist in the management, qualification, and training of the graduates after they complete their studies.
