LIMU continues to strengthen its position by forming
high-caliber partnerships with prominent educational and healthcare institutions worldwide. With
an awareness of the rapid global transformations, the university accelerates its efforts to remain
at the forefront of change.
On Friday, October 25, 2024, a delegation from the university—including President Prof. Dr.
Mohammed Saad, Vice President for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Mansouri, Director
of Graduate Studies Prof. Dr. Mustafa Al-Fakhri, and Director of International and Academic
Relations Dr. Miftah Al-Tuwailib—conducted an official visit to Medipol University and Medipol
Health Group in Istanbul, Turkey.
The Medipol University hosts 50,000 students from 120 nationalities and ranks among Turkey’s
and Europe’s leading universities, particularly noted for its excellence in health sciences. The
university boasts a unique educational complex with advanced facilities, including hospitals
specializing in human and dental medicine, as well as comprehensive applied medical studies.
During the successful visit, the delegation toured Medipol University’s facilities and Medipol
Health Group’s medical campuses, leading to the signing of a multifaceted agreement with both
institutions.
The academic partnership with Medipol University entails:
- Exchange programs for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, allowing
participation in courses, internships, and training. - Faculty exchange for teaching and research collaboration.
- Joint research projects.
- Organization of shared seminars, conferences, and public lectures.
- Exchange of books, audiovisual materials, and publications.
- Collaboration in cultural and educational activities.
- Facilitating visits to educational, scientific, and cultural sites for academic
purposes.
In addition, a training-focused agreement was signed with Medipol Health Group, which
operates numerous hospitals in Turkey and internationally. This collaboration includes training
programs, telemedicine services, and professional development opportunities for university
students and staff.
