The Council of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences AMS is an important meeting
The Dean of the faculty of Applied Medical Sciences (AMS), Prof. Abdullah Al-Mansoori, chaired the meeting of the faculty Board, in the presence of the Vice Dean of the faculty, Prof. Noha al-Naas and the heads of scientific departments: Howayda Khattab, Head of the Department of Vocational and Health Education, Dr. Rima Al-Fakhry, Head of the Department of Biomedical Sciences, Dr. Basma Farag, Head of the Department of Biological Sciences, and Dr. Nawar Al-Qumaty and Prof. Haneen Al-Sharif, from the faculty of Quality Assurance Office.
The meeting focused on presenting the final plan and updates for the academic year 2020/2021 on the progress of the group learning sessions in light of the precautionary measures to prevent the Corona pandemic and to facilitate the educational process.
The Dean stressed the importance of the role of faculty members in all units of the faculty, and the importance of scientific research and training and development programs are given the interest the college attaches to in supporting the skills and performance of the faculty of faculty members, teaching staff, supervisors, and laboratory technicians.
In the meeting, the evaluations of the Quality Assurance Office for the past academic year and the results of the first round of each academic year were presented, and the performance indicators of the faculty’s offices and units were reviewed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean affirmed the recommendations of the University’s Academic Council to adopt the blended education system and congratulated the college team at the end of the academic year and the price of the efforts made by the faculty staff, including faculty members, educational supervisors, lab technicians and employees, and their ability to give and conduct the educational process in the best way under these circumstances.
